Engagement & Case Assessment Process
Engagements are structured according to the scope, complexity, and analytical requirements of each matter.
1. Initial Consultation
Defense counsel may contact Aegis Federal Review to discuss the matter confidentially and determine whether investigative analysis or strategic case assessment may be beneficial.
2. Engagement and Retainer
Most matters begin with a structured retainer allowing for preliminary analytical review, consultation, and case assessment based upon the nature and complexity of the investigation.
3. Analytical Review
Investigative materials, evidentiary records, and related case documentation are reviewed to evaluate investigative methodology, case construction, procedural considerations, and potential structural vulnerabilities relevant to litigation strategy.
4. Ongoing Consultation & Support
Additional consultation, analytical review, litigation support, or expert witness services may be provided depending on the evolving needs of the matter.
